On October 13, the Mobility & Logistics Cluster and the GreenTech Cluster of the Regensburg Energy Agency hosted a joint event at RUBINA, the Center for Energy and Environmental Education in Regensburg.
Participants were presented with two exciting topics: one on self-sufficiency concepts in business—“Green Factory: The CO2-Neutral Factory” by Markus Heigele of Alois Müller GmbH; and the other on AI applications for bidirectional charging of electric vehicles, exploring the interplay between sustainability and digitalization, presented by Stephan Röß of AI Charge Technologies GmbH. Following the two presentations, a lively discussion took place between the speakers and the participants, featuring many interesting questions. The event concluded with a guided tour of the RUBINA, including explanations of the building’s modern construction methods in accordance with the latest building and energy standards, as well as a presentation of the um:welt Energy Education Center.
The event took place as part of the AI Energy & Mobility Working Group.
