On this shared data platform, participating partners can upload their own information, use it, work with it, or conduct research on it. The data can come from a wide variety of sectors: from production and manufacturing to mobility and usage data from a wide range of services.
To ensure security, a set of rules for the shared use, storage, and application of data will be developed: What data may be uploaded, who is permitted to use it, how, but most importantly, for what purpose? These questions will be addressed to create a secure, future-proof data hub.
Once the data hub is ready, AI methods can be developed, tested, and applied. Each project expands the platform, thereby transforming the data hub into a distributed database system and an AI development platform and ecosystem.
With the Data Hub as a shared working platform, AIR aims to create a strong yet flexible foundation for driving AI innovation.
